The 25th Anniversary of WLYC is a significant milestone for us, which is known as our “Silver Jubilee.” WLYC celebrates a quarter-century of the conference’s existence and reflects the longevity in Wyoming. It’s a powerful conference to honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire a stronger and more vibrant future for students and the community.


Friday, OCT 10th: Registration, Gala Dinner/Banquet, Keynote Speaker, DJ Dance with DJ Taco Bella and “Shimmering Silver Backdrop” Photo Booth.


Saturday, OCT 11th: Team building activities with UW College mentors, interactive workshops in STEM, financial literacy, creative arts, dance, mental health, and wellness. Entertainment evening concert with special guest musicians.

Promoting the Power of Choice

Celebrating 25 years of educational success

Inspiring 5th-12th grade Latinas through leadership, science, and creativity.

Our annual conference is held every October and features a welcome dinner banquet, cultural performances, educational workshops, and informational presentations. Workshops focus on Financial Literacy, STEM, Entrepreneurship, Mental Wellness, Cultural Arts, and Career Opportunities. The Wyoming Latina Youth Conference is open to all 5th-12th grade students of Latinx, Hispanic, Indigenous, Afro-Latinx, and mixed-blooded female identifying youth throughout the state of Wyoming.


Ann Redman, founder and chair for the last 25 years: "It has been an honor to work with so many amazing committee members, teen advisors and attendees. We have had outstanding keynote speakers and I have learned so much from everyone who has played a part in the success of the conference. I am grateful to the faculty at the University of Wyoming for understanding the importance of the conference and taking it under its wing.
